I love the Rotten Tomatoes movie review website. They take a large number of movie reviews and cram them all in one spot. I highly suggest you check out their site.
They recently posted the Top 100 Rated Science Fiction Films. The problem with this list is that they used a complicated formula based on reviewer ratings to get the top 100. By reviewing the list, you’ll note that this system is flawed. The other problem is that the interface is clunky. To save time and more time, I’ve listed them out here.

Thanks for the summary. The rotten tomatoes list is a tragedy of bad judgment.
Blade Runner not even in the top 25? The Host? Spotless Mind as #2?
The list is a joke.
Some dumbass who probably never saw half the films put this list together.
If Men in Black and Galaxy Quest are Sci-fi then they should put in Mars Attacks and Spaceballs!
Where's The Twilight Zone, Tron, or The Omega Man? They don't even have Contact, which is a really cool Sci-fi movie.
No Omega Man. No Soylent Green. Whoever put this list together must not like Charlton Heston.
* No mention at all of Tron, Contact, or Spaceballs?
* Blade Runner in 36th place??
* 2001 in 18th place?
* Awesome movies like The Thing (82), Dark Star, Altered States, and Planet of the Apes languishing in the bottom half of the list behind scheidt like "They Live", "Donnie Darko", and "the Empire Strikes Back"?
* Worst of all, "ET" in first place?? YECCH!!!
Yeah the list is a joke. It's definitely in the wrong order.
